Product description

Oil Tank Dryer / Water Remover. Removes harmful water from Diesel, Petrol, Bio-Diesel & Fuel Oil Water in your oil tank affecting performance? Add this to mop it up! Simple and easy to use! The Tank Dryer is a fuel tank water absorber, which has been developed in response to the increasing concerns regarding water contamination of fuel. By checking for, and removing any unwanted water, the Tank Dryer reduces the damaging impact that this contamination has on machinery and vehicles. The Tank Dryer, or ‘tank sock’ as it is often referred to, contains highly absorbent silica gel, which when lowered into the tank absorbs up to 350ml of water. Comes with a 2 m attached cord - very quick and easy to use Instructions are included - simply lower tank dryer through the fill point or inspection chamber of your tank, letting it sink into the place at the bottom of your tank and secure using the attached cord. Fits in most 2 inch Fill Points on both plastic and steel tanks Suitable for diesel, petrol, biofuel and fuel oil Reduced the risk of contaminated fuel and "Bug" formation that can cause vehicle and machine damage leading to expensive downtime and loss of productivity.

ONLY USED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS but removed when had oil delivery and saw that the bottom half was swollen, obviously with water, so time will tell. previously I have had the water removed by engineer at great expense so this is the easy way

It did its job except my tank is an old metal one and has not got anything on it to hold the string so I had to take the cap off and put plastic and a rubber band over it and only leave it in the tank for one hour

Came quickly. Easy to fix in tank. Does a good job of extracting excess water. Will definitely keep on using one.

This does exactly what it claims to. Delivery was prompt and the price was reasonable.

    Didn’t work for me
Better just keeping tank topped up during winter with fuel instead to avoid condensation.
