It is low friction and 'dry' so does not attract as much dust and dirt as wet, mineral oil lubricants such as the traditional WD-40 formulation that everybody on the planet seems to think is suitable to lubricate everything; a triumph of modern marketing!

      I thought all WD40 products were the same, they aren't I was recommended this by double glazing company. I've been struggling with our old sliding patio door as it was grating.       Not sure if its my can being an odd one out but the more accurate spray setting still goes absolutely everywhere which is great to lube what you want to lube. However, it also went all up the wall. The actual product itself which in my case was the dry PTFE works a treat.

      I use it for my Heusinkveld Sprint racing sim pedals as they had developed a squeek. Quick spray and move the pedals to get the lube in to the crevices and squeek gone. It's been 3 weeks since using the spray and heavy use of the pedals with no squeek either.

      Given it a 5/5 because the spray worked perfectly and I was trying to use it in a tight space. User error is very likely and the actual spray itself worked perfectly.
